Drawbacks

Drawbacks refer to the refund of duties, taxes, or fees paid on imported merchandise, as imposed under federal law upon entry or importation. This process allows for a credit claim when finished or partially finished products manufactured in the U.S. are exported or destroyed under U.S. Customs supervision. Additionally, the drawback can be applied when these products are used in the further manufacturing of other drawback-eligible items.
