Consumer Products
Commerce and foreign regulations define “consumer product” as any tangible personal property distributed in commerce, typically used for personal, family, or household purposes. This includes property intended to be attached to or installed in real property, regardless of whether it is actually attached or installed.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is the federal regulatory agency responsible for protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury and death associated with consumer products.
Prologos Law assists both domestic and international organizations involved in the development, production, and distribution of consumer products. We provide regulatory guidance and support in addressing CPSC enforcement actions.
